Overview
ADERERROR is a Seoul fashion brand established in 2014 by an anonymous multidisciplinary collective. The group developed clothing, images, campaigns and retail environments as parts of one cultural-communication practice, rather than presenting the label through a named founder or conventional fashion creative director. Current commerce and operations are conducted by Five Space Co., Ltd., while public fashion authorship remains attached to the ADERERROR collective.
The early collections used oversized unisex staples, displaced labels, uneven seams and saturated blue accents to turn familiar garments into deliberately altered objects. From 2018, recurrent partnerships with Puma, Maison Kitsuné, Eastpak, Zara and Converse expanded that method through athletic footwear, modular bags, mass-market tailoring and digital clothing. The brand also developed immersive Seoul retail environments in which installations, sound, moving images and product display form a single spatial narrative.
ADERERROR remains active. Tokyo Space opened in Omotesando on 9 August 2025 as the first global flagship, and the official site documents Spring/Summer 2026’s EUREKA MOMENT as the latest securely named main collection. The company now operates through specialised design, visual, branding, space and commercial teams, but no named individual has replaced the collective as the supported author of the fashion line.
Philosophy
ADERERROR describes its method through Editism: familiar clothes, images and objects are selected, displaced and recombined until their ordinary logic becomes unstable. The phrase “But near missed things” directs attention towards details that are usually overlooked, while the brand name treats error as a productive condition rather than a defect.
This approach appears in oversized proportions, asymmetrical construction, wandering stitches, exposed or misplaced labels, sliced graphics and hems that appear eroded or interrupted. Z-Blue provides a consistent chromatic anchor across clothing, packaging, furniture, footwear and digital media. Recent collections have extended these codes through sculptural tucks, pleats, wrapping structures and contrasts between restrained fronts and expanded backs.
The collective applies the same editing process to collaborators and spaces. Heritage footwear, backpacks, consumer electronics and shop interiors are treated as systems that can be dismantled and reorganised, rather than surfaces for an additional logo. The result connects streetwear, contemporary tailoring, graphic communication and experiential retail without assigning the entire practice to one visible personality.

Button TextADERERROR began collaborating with Converse in January 2023, dismantling and rebuilding the Chuck 70 through dual laces, cut canvas, altered patches and rewritten foxing. By 2025, the recurrent partnership had been integrated into Significant, connecting an external footwear project to ADERERROR’s confirmed contemporary line.
