Overview
Jil Sander+ was introduced by Lucie and Luke Meier in early 2019 as a seasonal line for life outside the city. It complemented the main collection with outerwear, knitwear and practical clothing shaped for weekends, travel and landscape rather than formal urban use.
The line developed a sustained campaign identity and became the platform for projects with Mackintosh, Birkenstock 1774 and Arc’teryx. Official seasonal documentation runs through Fall/Winter 2024; its status after the Meiers’ departure has not been publicly established.
Philosophy
Jil Sander+ translates the house’s precision into weather, movement and use. Protective construction, functional layering and tactile materials replace the main line’s metropolitan polish without abandoning its restraint.
Landscape is part of the line’s image system as well as its product logic. Recurring outdoor campaigns connect technical utility to quiet proportion, allowing performance references to remain integrated with the Jil Sander wardrobe.
