Uma Wang

Uma Wang is one of China’s most acclaimed fashion designers, known for a textural approach that blends Eastern and Western influences. Raised in Beijing, she studied textiles at China Textile University in Shanghai before honing her skills at Central Saint Martins in London. After working in the knitwear industry, she launched her namesake label in 2009, debuting at Milan Fashion Week in 2011. Her brand has since shown in London, Paris and Shanghai and is stocked by boutiques around the world.
