Spring/Summer 2016 ANTHOLOGY followed the brand's 25th-anniversary return and made the internal studio structure unusually visible. Contemporary coverage described 5351 as being designed by a four-person team under Kazuhisa Komura, placing collective authorship at the centre of a label long associated with individual chief designers.
The anthology framing suited that system: established 5351 codes of fitted tailoring, dark mode styling and rock-derived attitude could be assembled and adjusted through several design voices without losing the brand's identity. The runway therefore documents not only a season but the mature corporate-studio model that continues to shape 5351.
