About this collection
Autumn/Winter 2001–02 moved A.F. Vandevorst’s institutional references towards clerical and boarding-school dress. White shirting, religious cues and strict layers were staged inside a parking-garage environment broken by curtains and controlled routes.
The season also introduced Relics, a named accessories line beginning with rosary-inspired jewellery. The debut of that line made devotional objects a durable part of the house’s material vocabulary, extending symbolism from clothing and set design into objects worn close to the body.
