About this collection
Autumn/Winter 2006–07 arrived as A.F. Vandevorst formalised Nightfall, the dedicated French-made lingerie and beachwear line. The collection brought the intimate layer that had existed beneath the house since 1998 into a clearer commercial structure while maintaining its role inside the runway wardrobe.
A large pulsating red cross dominated the environment, enlarging the house symbol into architecture. The gesture joined medical imagery with the exposed logic of lingerie and reaffirmed the founders’ ability to move a recurring sign between logo, garment and spatial installation.
