About this collection
Spring/Summer 2016 returned A.F. Vandevorst to Paris with a high-decibel presentation in the courtyard of Université Paris Descartes. Motorcycle engines announced the models, who arrived individually on the backs of bikes before entering the runway space.
The transport mechanism turned the house’s longstanding military, equestrian and protective references into a contemporary urban procession. Helmets, leather and movement gave the collection a hard shell while the clothes retained the designers’ layered and hybrid approach to femininity.
