About this collection
Adeline André’s first house collection introduced the three-sleeve-hole construction through substantial fabrics including wool and flannel. The garments were intended for a ready-to-wear market, but their body-led wrapping and absence of ordinary closures already resisted industrial standardisation. The season establishes 1981 as the house’s formal beginning, distinct from the better-documented gallery presentation two years later.
