About this collection
privé extended Aoki’s study of clothing outside public performance. Wrinkled, sagging and loosely arranged fabrics referred to domestic spaces and the private condition in which dress no longer has to satisfy an external gaze.
The collection retained the brand’s tailored structures but allowed them to soften and settle around the body, continuing the movement from institutional uniform towards intimate realism.
