About this collection
Presented to international press and buyers at Bergdorf Goodman in September 1982, Autumn/Winter 1982 was Alaïa’s first official ready-to-wear presentation. Black jersey dresses, an absence of jewellery and footwear by Maud Frizon placed construction and silhouette at the centre of the commercial debut.
