About this collection
The 1985 Palladium presentation in New York synthesised approximately three years of Alaïa’s work rather than representing a single seasonal collection. Sponsored by Barneys and staged with a set by Jean-Paul Goude, it translated the house’s rapid early development into a large-scale international event.
