About this collection
Spring/Summer 1986 developed tube dresses from body-hugging bands of stretch jersey, with Egyptian mummy wrapping identified by the Foundation as a source. The collection established the wrapped bandage dress as a structural Alaïa archetype through tension and continuity across the body.
