The visual record is still being traced. It will appear here once found.
About this collection
Presented on 23 January 2003, Summer-Autumn 2003 was Alaïa’s first runway show devoted exclusively to haute couture. Zipped dresses, rigid crocodile tailcoats and English embroidery demonstrated an expanded atelier capacity after the arrival of former Yves Saint Laurent specialists.
The later title Of Sculpted Silence belongs to the Fondation’s 2025 exhibition and travelling presentation of the collection; it is retained as an alternative archival title, not asserted as the original show name.
