Balenciaga

The 53rd couture collection elevated subcultural and sportswear materials through highly controlled atelier work. Vintage denim was cut and reversed into seamless bustier forms, fleece hoodies were lined and rebuilt with couture precision, and basketball jerseys became sites for dense inlay embroidery. A final black nylon gown was draped from forty-seven metres of fabric as an intentionally temporary object, testing whether couture value could reside in process and disappearance rather than permanence.
