About this collection
Wang closed his Balenciaga tenure with an all-white and ivory collection of camisoles, lace, loose trousers, cargo shapes and soft boudoir references. The near absence of hard colour and heavy structure made the finale feel like a release from the archive discipline of his earlier seasons. A hip-hop soundtrack and Wang’s runway selfie returned the house to his own youth-culture register at the moment of departure.
