Balenciaga

Pierpaolo Piccioli opened his Balenciaga tenure with The Heartbeat, presented at Laennec in October 2025. The collection returned to Cristóbal Balenciaga’s sack, balloon and cocoon principles but softened their monumentality through colour, movement and Neo Gazar, a fabric developed to hold structure without the stiffness of historical gazar. The debut made sincerity, eveningwear and the visible life of the wearer central to the new era.
