Fall 2024 scaled Maxwell’s new restraint back up to a major runway without returning to the old theatrical formula. Waxed cotton, denim, outerwear and sharpened tailoring placed recognisable American workwear and sportswear materials inside a luxury framework, while the silhouettes remained elongated and controlled.

The collection demonstrated that the brand renovation could support more than an intimate presentation. Its emphasis on jackets, practical fabrics and daily wardrobe pieces broadened the commercial centre of the house while preserving the exacting fit and finish associated with Maxwell’s eveningwear.
