About this collection
TRADITIONAL ESCAPE was a male project built around restricted movement, connected bodies and the attempt to move through space without ordinary visual control. Lift’s retrospective documentation, produced with C.C.P. Srl cooperation, links the project to shirts, jackets and early footwear and describes a performance staged on the outskirts of Milan. The surviving source does not provide a secure original date or venue, but the title and project structure are comparatively strong.
