Autumn/Winter 2008 explored evolution and life-science imagery through an independent Hussein Chalayan runway shown two days before Puma announced its investment and creative-director appointment. Two mechanically illuminated finale dresses added light to a collection that still belonged wholly to the designer’s own house.
