About this collection
Presented from 1 to 19 November 1932 at 29 rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, Bijoux de Diamants was Gabrielle Chanel’s only high-jewellery collection before the war. Diamonds were arranged as flexible comets, stars, ribbons and fringes and displayed on wax heads to emphasise their relation to the body rather than conventional settings.
