About this collection
New-Vintage-Clothes is the label’s continuing reconstruction programme with artist Naoto Yoshida, formalised around 2015. Vintage Levi’s, bandanas and other garments are completely dismantled and rebuilt through dense patchwork, hand placement and limited production.
The project moved Children of the discordance beyond basic remakes into a more exact, bespoke-level practice. Its treatment of denim and patterned cloth became central to the brand’s recognition at International Gallery BEAMS and to its later international positioning.
