About this collection
Often described as The Dior Matrix, the collection placed Gainsborough-like portraiture, Persian and South Asian references, futuristic armour and couture drape above a waterbed runway at the Versailles Orangerie. The collision of historical painting and science-fiction spectacle made unstable footing and bodily control part of the show.
