The collection moved through flamenco, tango, Charleston, ballet, cancan, hip-hop, raga and acid-house references as a tribute to Galliano’s father and to dance as embodied memory. Movement dictated skirts, fringe, tailoring, music and pacing rather than serving only as a decorative theme.
