About this collection
Dior’s sixtieth anniversary was staged at the Versailles Orangerie through references to painters, illustrators and photographers and a reunion of prominent models. Monumental evening dresses, portrait colour and ceremonial entrances made the show an institutional retrospective as much as a seasonal collection.
