About this collection
Yves Saint Laurent’s first signed Dior collection released the torso into a lighter trapeze line, moving away from the founder’s fixed waist while retaining couture control. Presented after Saint Laurent’s formal designation as successor, it made the difference between appointment and public debut visible.
