The collection drew styling and material cues from homelessness, newspapers, found objects and worn clothing, producing a spectacle widely criticised for turning poverty into couture imagery. Bias construction, layered paper-like surfaces and elaborate atelier technique did not remove the ethical problem created by the source material.
