Gaytten’s second Dior couture collection exposed the atelier’s internal logic through toile-like transparency, houndstooth, cinched waists and garments that appeared x-rayed or partially unfinished. The controlled presentation made technical construction rather than theatrical character the principal claim of the interim period.
