Autumn/Winter 2025 gives Comme des Garçons Homme Plus one of its most explicit recent public stances, built around the phrase “To hell with war.” The season brings protest into Kawakubo’s menswear without reducing the clothes to slogan dressing. Its energy sits closer to refusal: tailoring, uniform associations and dark ceremony pulled into conflict with the idea of violence itself. Shown in Paris, it draws on the line’s long habit of turning menswear codes into moral and emotional pressure rather than decoration.
