About this collection
At Comme des Garçons’ Tokyo headquarters, Fall/Winter 2021 put SHIRT’s graphic collaboration language into a compact catwalk setting. KAWS and Futura artwork cut across the line’s familiar shirting base, giving the clothes a direct image-led surface without losing the practical, modular feel of the garments. Rather than treating art as a separate print story, the presentation folded illustration into collars, panels, layers and proportional shifts. SHIRT’s everyday menswear absorbed visual intervention without becoming precious or losing its utilitarian backbone.
