Not A Man’s Territory pushed Findikoglu’s feminist body politics through fetishwear, lingerie, latex, leather and aggressive surface construction. The show used an East London church as a charged setting for garments that treated exposure and protection as competing forces, including sculptural evening pieces built from black feathers and vintage butter knives. The collection is kept distinct from the later Femme Vortex show: the Hari Nef opening, “Female Territory” look and “Waking the Witch” finale belong to Autumn/Winter 2024, not this season.
