Spring/Summer 2020 turned environmental anxiety into a ritualised runway. Victorian silhouettes, crimson tailoring, distressed hats and corsetry were built with extensive use of upcycled or deadstock materials and natural dyes, while embroidery involved a women’s charity and artisans in Turkey. The collection connected Findikoglu’s established politics of the body to a more explicit argument about material waste and production.
