FAF (Fake As Flowers)

FAF’s Autumn/Winter 2024 collection, Recirculation, was shown at Shibuya Hikarie on 12 March 2024 during Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO. It was the label’s first show-format runway, bringing the seasonal THENEWCOMMUNE system into a formal fashion-week setting after several years of drops, pop-ups, lookbooks and showroom development.

The collection concentrated FAF’s established vocabulary of layered workwear, utility silhouettes, treated surfaces and reconstructed material in a public runway statement. Arriving as Tokyo Fashion Award support was opening Paris wholesale opportunities, Recirculation made the label’s transition from Tokyo subcultural project to structured seasonal fashion business visible on the runway without abandoning the practical, worn-in character of its clothing.
