About this collection
Pugh’s first solo runway staged a carnival of painted faces, point-topped hats, vinyl bodysuits and inflated black-and-gold checks. Giant helium balloons entered the audience before the clothes, making performance inseparable from the collection while a small number of coats began to suggest a workable product vocabulary.
