About this collection
Pugh returned to London for the label’s tenth anniversary with a severe study of British identity. Blood-red St George crosses, crested headpieces, leather breastplates and Sunderland football chants framed black cocoon forms. Thousands of hand-cut drinking straws were sewn into dresses and panels, imitating dark plumage through industrial material.
