About this collection
For Wayne McGregor’s Carbon Life, Pugh designed architectural unisex costumes that accumulated across the performance. Dancers began in flesh-toned bases and acquired angular black structures, allowing the visual system to grow alongside the ballet’s collision of contemporary dance and pop music.
