Supported by Lexus, Pugh replaced the runway with three linked environments at Pier 36. Films by Andrew Thomas Huang, choreography by Wayne McGregor and live dancers moved through British folklore, an artificial tornado and a final maypole-like ascension. The garments operated inside a total performance concerned with ritual, chaos and rebirth.
