About this collection
Les Épineuses used spikes, protruding beadwork and exaggerated headpieces to make embellishment control the outline of the body. Darker grounds intensified the fluorescent and metallic surfaces, while familiar garments were overtaken by thorn-like ornament. The collection sharpened Germanier’s transition from decorated ready-to-wear towards constructions whose texture and volume are inseparable.
