About this collection
Prélude was developed with access to deadstock fabrics, garments and unsold material from seven LVMH maisons. Germanier cut, unravelled, re-knitted and recomposed the material into new garments, demonstrating how an independent studio could process excess generated by a large luxury group. The project became the first stage of a longer supply relationship later expanded in Les Chardonneuses.
