About this collection
Talisman developed fashion as physical and spiritual protection through Ottoman military undergarments, Arabic calligraphy and close tailoring. Syrian artist Abdelrazak Shaballot created Safe From Harm script for silk garments, Nhat-Vu Dang supplied jewellery, LABOUR composed the music and Filip Berg designed the set from artworks by Enad Marouf. Kaftan and taqiyah references sat beside sculptural faux leather and crossover coats.
