About this collection
Doppelgänger returned to Berlin’s early-1980s industrial and synth-punk culture through severe tailoring, black leather, workwear and body-conscious athletic pieces. The collection began from the contemporary German term Friedensangst and used historical repetition as a warning against militarism and defence profiteering. Official notes credit Ellie Grace Cumming for styling, Affa Osman for casting and CC-Steding for jewellery and hardware.
