Demna’s first physical Gucci runway used a dark, statue-lined environment at Palazzo delle Scintille for low-rise tailoring, sculpted leather, body-conscious dresses and amplified accessories. The collection revisited the direct sexuality of 1990s Gucci through his own typological and exaggerated method.
