About this collection
Designed for Bergdorf Goodman’s Country and Casual Shop, this documented ready-to-wear programme translated the young couture house into an American wardrobe of narrow plaid skirts, wool-jersey blouses, boleros, chemise dresses and straight coats. Textured wool, synthetic blends and strong colour made commercial adaptation part of Laroche’s method from the beginning.
