Elbaz’s fourth and final Guy Laroche collection used sombre florals, long pleated skirts, loosely wrapped jackets, fitted day suits and dark lace, interrupted by luminous evening colour. Presented before his contract ended on 31 October, it corrects the repeated claim that his Laroche tenure comprised only three shows.
