About this collection
Hussein Chalayan’s Central Saint Martins graduation collection used garments treated with iron filings and buried for several weeks so corrosion and soil became part of their surfaces. Browns acquired the collection after graduation, giving the work an immediate retail and public afterlife before the commercial label began in 1994.
