About this collection
From Africa to the World was the first solo museum exhibition devoted to Imane Ayissi. Presented at SCAD FASH from 18 September 2024 to 23 February 2025, it assembled more than forty looks and traced the relationship between his dance background, couture construction, sustainability and African textile heritage. The exhibition converted a dispersed runway history into a public institutional survey of the house.
