About this collection
The Dance of Fabrics was staged at Hôtel Bristol in 2004 and was described as celebrating ten years of Ayissi’s design practice. That anniversary counted his pre-brand work rather than the formal foundation of Maison Imane Ayissi in the same year. The event is useful as a transition between an established independent career and the corporate identity under which the house would later enter the couture calendar.
