About this collection
Sensory Seas connected marine anatomy with the branching structures of the human nervous system. Pleated membranes, laser-cut Plexiglas and flowing mesh drew on the scientific illustrations of Santiago Ramón y Cajal and on deep-sea organisms, collapsing internal and external landscapes.
