About this collection
Transforming Fashion assembled forty-five looks from fifteen collections and gave North American museum audiences a sustained view of van Herpen’s development from hand-built metal structures to 3D printing. The exhibition travelled to institutions across the United States and Canada, helping establish the collections as a subject of design history and material study.
