Dolores developed Spanish-inflected romanticism through dark tailoring, corsetry, bias-cut dresses and controlled theatrical gesture. The Rue Pajol show maintained the sales recovery of the previous seasons while functioning as a practical demonstration of Galliano’s ability to lead a larger house shortly before the Givenchy appointment.
