The Plein Sud-backed relaunch used pirate and marauder imagery, layered romantic dress and technically improved finishing made possible by Fayçal Amor’s staff and factory system. The late-running Salle Wagram show returned Galliano to a viable Paris collection operation after two missed or unproduced seasons.
